I have worked as a web professional since 1999 and since that time have worked as the lead designer at ministryofsound.com, AV Specialist for Digitalbrain E-learning and the web designer for Miramedia and Worth Digital. I have also held the role of Senior Designer for Internet Marketing agency Juretic Media (www.juretic.com).
Over the past ten years I have worked on projects and campaigns for brands including Lucozade, Guinness, Sol Beer, Channel 4, BBC 6Music, Vodafone and NHS. I have also worked on award winning campaigns including www.ministryofsound.com (NMA 2000, Muzik Magazine 2000), www.stepintothenhs.nhs.uk (NMA Effectiveness 2008).
My target is to create websites that are engagingly beautiful whilst being as easy to use as possible. I believe this is an important part to the marketing of a service or product and helps to convert visitors to customers through a perceived quality to the design.

I was responsible for all creative output of the company including all branding and print design work as well as our online design. Added to this I was responsible for User Experience and all front end development encompassing, HTML, CSS, Javascript and ActionScript for Flash.

I was a web designer for Ministry of Sound for a little over 18 months and became the lead designer there during this period. I was responsible for the design of the main website at ministryofsound.com along with creation of microsites to promote club nights, album releases and events as well as creation of marketing campaigns for brand partnerships including Philips, BT, Sol beer and Diamond White. I was also responsible for the hiring of freelance designers and front end developers. I have been contracted for other web work by Ministry of Sound since leaving this position.

I attended the well equipped Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, pursuing a degree in Sound Technology. I attained a 2.1 BA Hons for this degree and continue to love creating music but mostly as a non professional activity.

I have worked extensively on two projects that won NMA awards. The first of these was the Ministry of Sound website and the second was for the NHS Careers site www.stepintothenhs.nhs.uk.
