Marten Runow’s Summary
Hello! My name is Mårten Runow. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of Hiring and Personnel and am a frequent speaker at large seminars in the field of Hiring, Personnel and Finances.
When I was younger, it was a goal of mine to understand life around me. I originally studied mathematics and logic in Stockholms Technical University but saw rather quickly that even those with high degrees in this subject I did not know how to deal with people and communicate effectively. So in 1977 I set out to learn about the world of business and people.
I worked my way up in several small and larger companies and in 1984 became the General Manager of Filmbolaget in Sweden. I worked there and tripled the size of the company and its profit.
In 1985 I came across the author Mr. Hubbard who provided real solutions and an incredible understanding of people. From that day on I have studied and applied his discoveries on the subject of business and personnel and the thousands of satisfied clients and letters of recommendation stands as a living proof of its workability.
So in 1986 I started my first business, using the concepts and teachings of Mr. Hubbard and have been running it ever since. In 1999 I started the company Performia that operates on the simple but advanced on-line system developed for testing and handling of the hiring process and also educates business owners and executives in hiring and personnel.
It is now my vision is to assist Businesses around the world with effective hiring solutions, which enable Companies to hire productive personnel. I considers building and expanding a Company an incredibly rewarding challenge which is rewarded when you see Clients expand and become more prosperous as a result of one's efforts.

I spent 7 years with highly skilled programmers to create an online testing system which allows thousands of clients to test and interview candidates all around the world simultaneously. I carefully selected or developed tests and interviews, based on many years of experience in the business, that would with great accuracy and speed detect the truly productive and competent candidates to be hired.
