Mark Wilbur founded Pharma Connections Worldwide®LLC in 2006 , recently incorporated in DE and is currently the CEO & Founder. He has over eighteen years of experience in hospital& retail pharmacy, pharmaceutical and biotech research and development environments and business development. His educational background is in the areas of biochemistry, computer science, bioinformatics and business. He served briefly as the Director of North American Sales(2006) for a European based bioinformatics software company, and previously as an Executive Sales Manager for Ariadne Genomics(2004-2005). He has served in various consulting, sales & business development roles for Life Sciences Informatics software companies and as a consultant for the UNC Center for Bioinformatics in Chapel Hill, NC(2002-2004). Prior to that he served as the Lead Research Bioinformatician at Cogent Neuroscience in Durham, NC(2000-2002). He began his career as a bench biochemist/analytical chemist, working in large pharma R&D environments as well as contract research labs and manufacturing QA labs.
