November 2000 — Present (7 years 9 months)
I am in charge of maintaining Genesee Counties largest real estate website ChangingStreets.com. We have over 2,000 visitors a day. I maintain the email servers Qmail, Sendmail, Sun Java Messenger. DNS Servers tinydns, binddns. Solaris / Linux apache, Sun Java System web servers. Windows IIS web server and firewalls. For our internal office I manage Hylafax, Samba server, Sun Java System Directory Server LDAP, along with maintenance on all computers, servers, printers and phone systems. I developed ChangingStreets.com using ASP, VB and SQL Server. In that time we have become the 5th largest Real Estate Company in our board.
(Public Company; 1001-5000 employees; CRBC; Banking industry)
October 1999 — November 2000 (1 year 2 months)
I was in charge of maintaining the local Intranet server and external web servers. Developed web based applications using SQL Server and asp. From time to time I was asked to lead teams for bank conversions across the Mid-West. At the age of 27 I was the youngest Bank Officer in Citizens Bank history at the time.
(Privately Held; 501-1000 employees; Computer Hardware industry)
April 1998 — September 1999 (1 year 6 months)
Spent countless hours maintaining computers, laptops, printers and anything else I was told to service. Received Compaq certification and HP Certification. I was surrounded daily by some of the most brilliant people I have ever met in my life who taught me a great deal about network operating systems and applications. It is here while on assignment to Citizens Bank that I started coding in some of the newer programming languages for web applications at the time such as ASP, isapi, perl and VB. Designed Citizens Banks first intranet site and began working for them.
(Privately Held; 201-500 employees; Computer Hardware industry)
January 1995 — January 1998 (3 years 1 month)
Aerotek was the foundation of my I.T. expertise, where I learned from companies like EDS, IBM, Cisco, CompuCom, Siemens, and Entex. Became familiar with and skilled at Aix, Prime, VSE/ESA VM/CMS S/390 mainframe operating systems, as well as soldering in memory boards, central processing boards and storage drives. Exposure to myriad problems, situations and job responsibilities shaped me into a master problem solver.
Associate's, Science, 1992 — 1996
