Writing and editing professional and workshop leader with a handle on web 2.0 technologies. My academic and private training background, combined with strong personal interest in the creative arts, made me an ideal host, moderator, recruiter, and adviser, in establishing a prominent online writers workshop. Six years later, the experience of working through the internet with authors and student writers from all over the world has given me an in-the-field education on the uses of the new web to build and support human networks for creative and business purposes.
I have an eagle eye for copy editing and proofreading tasks combined with a strong literary aesthetic and the capacity to communicate the finer points of my perspective well. I am a traditionalist in some ways, but not a snob or a square. I have never given in to the attention-deficit culture of the web, but I've learned to work well within it.
In my capacity as Writers Workshop Administrator for ChuckPalahniuk.net, my crowning achievement is in the development of our Master's Program, wherein established literary authors and media professionals teach intensive online classes for our worldwide audience of eager and exceptional students.
