Mark Bao (formerly Steven Bao) is a 17-year-old student and technology entrepreneur, and is the President & CEO of Avecora. He is also a nonprofit founder and advocate.
Mark is a Co-Founder with Jason L. Baptiste at Ramamia, a family sharing site that allows family members to share what's happening in their family.
He also works at DebateWare.com, a software consultancy firm and startup that offers its main product DebateNet, a debate organization and event management system.
Mark is also the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at TickrTalk, a stealth consumer web startup founded in 2008.
Mark also is the CEO of Classleaf, taking education into the 21st century through teacher class websites and an academic platform.
He also is the CEO of Adaptance Advertising, an ad network based on an advanced advertising algorithm combining five targeting factors, including behavioral and contextual, and others.
Mark has also developed several Facebook apps, one of which was sold to Lee Lorenzen at Altura Ventures. Afterwards, with two marketing partners, he developed the application Facebook Idol, which was sold to a private investor in October 2007.
In the past, Mark has created companies in advertising, such as Cadmium, and others within CRM and project management.
Mark is inspired by technology, innovation, consumer electronics, and the integration of devices with each other and the social layer, as well as nonprofits and philanthropy.
