Mark Bao (formerly Steven Bao) is 16-year-old student and web, software and advertising entrepreneur, and is the President & CEO of Avecora.
He also works at DebateWare.com, a software consultancy firm, that offers its main product DebateNet, a debate organization and event management system. It has provided consulting for customers including the Junior State of America.
Mark is also the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at TickrTalk, a stealth consumer web startup founded in 2008.
Mark also joined Jason L. Baptiste and Matt Byrd at Ramamia, a family sharing site that allows family members to share what's happening in their family.
Mark has also developed several Facebook apps, one of which was sold to Lee Lorenzen at Altura Ventures. Afterwards, with two marketing partners, he developed the application Facebook Idol, which was sold to a private investor in October 2007.
He also is the owner of AdSocial (formerly Cadmium), the targeted social application advertising network available for developers of social applications and advertisers, that extends the social advertising graph to the web, by aggregating social network profile information and targeting advertisements around the web.
Mark is inspired by technology, innovation, virtual reality, and the integration of devices with each other and the social layer.
