Mark Ranford is the founder and Managing Director of Stratagility. Mark graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics and Computing, as well as a Masters in Knowledge Systems. His experience spans over 20 years in a broad range of roles including: strategy management, knowledge management, project management, product management & marketing, account management, business & partnership development.
Mark’s last post before founding Stratagility was at Accellion where he helped build a whole new line of business for the company in the Internet Backup area. This Backup service acquired two of the worlds largest PC manufacturers as its resellers during marks tenure and represented Accellion’s dominant source of revenue.
Mark's endeavour in creating a Backup service encapsulates his approach to strategy. Envisioning and then moulding the future to ones own advantage. Repeatedly innovating to maintain and increase value.
At heart, Marks nature has always been entrepreneurial. He thinks of himself best as an “Imagineer”. His inspirations include: James Lovelock, Alfred Whitehead, David Bohm, Gary Hamel, JJ Krishnamurti & John Storrs-Hall.

Performance Management process. This requires implementing the Balanced Scorecard and managing the change until the ongoing closed-loop management and governance processes are thoroughly embedded and optimized, integrating with the financial and HR processes and establishing the supporting systems and software for documenting strategy and reporting performance. The aim is to have in place a real world class example of best practice strategy management that delivers an "execution premium" for the MOW, and is recognized as such through awards such as the "Hall of Fame".
