I lead software projects in Basel Switzerland in which my team developed new versions of the automation software product to the markets. My responsibilities in project management included e.g. planning and management of software development and internal process improvement projects, subcontractor management and contract negotiations, team leading, coordination with mother companies, leadership of joint project management and change control boards, reporting to company steering committee and budget management. I shared also some responsibilities with my operational manager, such as planning of yearly action plan and technology strategy, definition of project charters and personal development discussions with team members. In addition to my project management work I developed and renewed the software processes and tools towards the principles of agile software processes. As part of this work we got through major tool investments and changes together with my operational manager.
