Mark has spent the last 18 years as an award winning photojournalist in the southern New England area. He is the Chief Photographer at the Salem News in Salem, Massachusetts where he manages a team of four photographers who cover 11 communities reaching 30,000 daily print readers and an average of 1M monthly online viewers. Mark is a master at managing assignments and he is at his best working in collaboration with reporters and his team members under tight deadlines. His passion for politics and sports is evident in his portfolio. He is currently transitioning his specialization to video storytelling for online content. He uses the Sony HDV HVR-A1U video camera with Azden wireless microphones. He edits using Final Cut Studio 2 on a 17'' custom built MacBook Pro.
