Mark Holmes’s Summary

I am currently employed full time as a database administrator and developer in the health information systems industry. I have 15 years programming experience on Windows systems, and several years experience with various flavors of Linux dating back to the pre-1.0 beta kernels. I attribute my remaining sanity to the insatiable curiosity that began when I first saw the Atari 400 at age 7... it has been a roller coaster ride ever since.

I spent four years living in Guatemala, where my family owns a textile factory. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and have a healthy respect for other cultures.
