Mark has worked in the software industry since 2001 developing applications for the web specialising in both Java and ASP.net platforms.
Working Freelance, Mark was has worked for a variety of clients all with very differnet and very specific needs, exposing him to an assortment of technologies and platforms. This has proven to be a great learning experience from which the knowledge gained has been invaluable.
Throughout his career Mark has adopted many roles from Senior Developer overseeing teams successfully implement projects to Technical Architect, designing and developing both high level and low level designs for banking applications in the lending sector.
Now, Director of Technology and Products at hedgehoglab, Mark's is responsible for directing and overseeing the development of all internal and client facing projects.
Mark has a keen eye for software design, the results of which can be seen the quality of the work he produces. His passion for the software industry is matched only by his enthusiasm to work to the highest of standards.

For a short period mark was involved in developing the client facing aspects of a web analytics package. Mark's role saw him developing the UI both the coded and visual aspects of the system to enhance the user experience the results of which where clearly visible in the feedback recieved from customers when the package was released.
