Web Develoment Manager at InsureMyTrip.com
Providence, Rhode Island Area
Working as a software engineer, concert sound engineer, retail manager, ski bum, and waiter has taught me the importance of creating efficient user focused processes which allow the job to get out of the way of the work of creation. I've also come to realize that sometimes you have to stop looking for the "right" way and just get it done, it usually teaches you something.
I'm putting my experience developing enterprise applications to use as the Web Development Manager at insuremytrip.com where all of the typical enterprise web/SOA application issues arise.
I still occasionally work as a Sound Engineer since it's nice to keep in touch with friends, and I feel it's important to get out of the office and move heavy objects. It's even better if those heavy objects are used to make good music.
