advisor to Halloran Philanthropies a Philadelphia-based organization that invests in micro-finance, sustainable energy, social capital markets and community development; director of two key projects - the World We All Want Project that develops positive scenarios and comprehensive worldviews based on real global data measuring human well-being; and Piedra - The Oaxaca Hub - a network of social entrepreneurs in Oaxaca (where I live) currently developing a regional, approach to improving well-being from the ground up in collaboration with The-Hub;

working on an Impact Enterprise Innovation Fund of Funds with Calvert Foundation for the White House Office of Social Innovation; advisor to a new social enterprise called BeDo targeting innovation, social entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, and supporting individual intention to improve well-being through culture.

co-founder of the Social Capital Markets conference on money and meaning in San Francisco and xigi.net, the wikipedia of social entrepreneurship;

I was born in Omaha and now live in Oaxaca. In between I've lived and worked in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. I'm interested in social capital, collective intelligence, art & technology, pattern recognition, spatial intelligence and mapping. It is culture arising within social groups and networks that shapes people's individual worldviews and behavior. Thus my work merges business, art, entertainment, media and design worlds.
