Marissa Beck has a passion for fitness and nutrition that is unsurpassed. Most recently she was a nutrition educator for Harlem RBI, a unique youth development organization, where she developed an after-school nutrition education program to be implemented at affiliated schools in late 2009. While studying at Columbia University, she was the Editor of the nutrition newsletter, The Grapevine, where she published articles and reviewed editorial as well as and participated in social networking events with alumni and faculty. She has also done freelance writing for numerous online diet and nutrition publications. Marissa received her BA from Tufts University and Master of Science (MS) and Registered Dietitian (RD) degrees from Columbia University.
