In my role as Senior Vice President and Strategic Counsel for Edelman (the world's largest independent public relations firm) I provide our clients with research-based insights on how Baby Boomers think, plan, act, and spend money. Using a proprietary process and custom research, I help clients find their brand's Bulls'-Eye Boomer so they can tap the financial and intellectual power of the most influential generation in the U.S.

I also am responsible for teaching organizations and C-level executives how to effectively tell their story through multiple communications channels, including traditional PR outlets, blogs, podcasts, webcasts and other Word-of-Mouth marketing tactics.

I have delivered hundreds of speeches to audiences of as few as 5 to as many as 5,000. More than 300 executives from the Fortune 500, as well as thousands of business owners, speakers and consultants have relied on my counsel over the 25+ years that I have been a professional communicator.

In addition to being the author of a popular book, "The Scoop on Media Interviews: How to be a Respected Resource Reporters and Producers Love," I have worked with companies of all sizes to help them learn to tell their stories to the media, to clients, business partners and employees.

Prior to joining Edelman, my career included being a newspaper reporter, an internal communications manager for a large public utility, a Fortune 100 speech writer, a media relations manager, a business owner and consultant, and a turnaround executive for the country's largest privately held Managed Security Services Provider.
