My twin passions are public speaking and wellness coaching. I believe that one should never have to choose one thing from life's menu, and I never have.

Speaking Of... is my business giving workshops on improving public speaking skills, and coaching speakers individually. My primary audience is healthcare professionals, and I am open to reaching new audiences. Working in healthcare for over 20 years, plus my ten-plus years in Toastmasters, has given me the unique perspective of recognizing communication challenges that staff face, and helping them overcome those challenges.

Consumers and staff today need targeted, simple communication--that's what I specialize in coaching people to do.

I have written a home study speaking course that conveys my philosophy of public speaking, that can be used by any healthcare professional, and offers both dietitians and registered nurses continuing education hours.

As I grow this business I am also working as a contract licensed wellcoach for the largest privately held online publisher of health and wellness websites in the USA. My role is email private coaching, which is a specialized writing and coaching skill. I also coach clients individually through my association with Wellcoaches, to improve their wellness.

Online access for managing health and health conditions is expected to grow even more rapidly in the coming years, as both a way to control healthcare costs, and increase access to professionals. I am proud to be at the leading edge of this communication change.
