I am working/studying in biomedical imaging since 2005. I am currently working on a master's degree in research on this topic, specifically on OCT elastography. I should be done by the end of 2008. My future plans include more management and less research.
Aside from science, I have my own business in jewelry making. I buy, design, make, photograph and sell jewelry, along with some friends, but I am the natural leader. I also designed a website to showcase and sell my work. I have customers in Canada as well as in USA via my Etsy shop.
I have some experience with programming easy to use softwares, particularly in business/clients management. I use LabView. I have done 3 contracts since 2002 for small businesses.

This jewelry business started as a hobby but quickly became bigger. I buy material, design, make, photograph and sell high-quality jewelry. I designed a website to showcase and sell my work, and also have a US online shop. Along the way, some friends joined me; we are currently 4 designers.

I use LabView to create very personnalised softwares for this group insurance office.
The first one manages clients and their employees, as well as personal information. It can send emails, remind problems, make and print proposals, etc. It has a search function.
The second software is sent out to all the clients and is useful for the manager to calculate all the deductions, get the necessary forms, automatically send status changes, etc.

It can manage clients and their associated users, as well as personal information. It can send emails, make and print invoices, calculate statictics, etc. It has a search function. Users can input their work time on the machines without interfering with the assistant's work.
