Interactive Designer
San Francisco Bay Area
From FILTER’s Artist of the Month, June 09 (they write a better bio than I do):
An interactive designer with 10 years of Flash design and development experience, Mike skillfully conveys clients’ messages through visual communication and motion.
Launching his career directly out of college as a Flash designer/developer building interactive training courses for an internet service provider in Silicon Valley, Mike’s client list has expanded over the past decade to include MTV, Sprite, KIA, Got Milk?, PayPal, Blizzard, and ESPN.
Motivated by tight deadlines, inspired by his wife’s work ethic, and passionate about “creating something from nothing,” Mike’s ideal gig is “a large-scale, highly conceptual project that involves recognizable brands or imagery delivered to a wide audience across multiple platforms and media.”
When he’s not creating fresh, modern interactive designs, Mike’s often lodged in front of the TV watching LOST, Battlestar Galactica, or Friday Night Lights. He also enjoys practically every genre of music and loves drawing and illustration. An avid runner, Mike frequently hits the pavement when he needs to clear his head and think creatively.
