Her fall 1985 turnaround plan was dubbed by Merrill Lynch Hubbard's CFO (Merrill Lynch's real property syndication arm) as "the best money we have ever spent."
Margaret was offered the position of Senior Advisor to the U.S. Comptroller of the Currency in 1984 after being informed she came in third for Nancy Teeter's replacement on the Federal Reserve Board.
