Margarita PEREZ-GARCIA is a researcher in education science, working with MENON Network in Brussels, Belgium. Margarita has two degrees in Roman literature and Linguistics and its subsequent Master degrees (University Paul Valery, Montpellier). Presently she is also PhD candidate at La Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris III.
She has been working in the field of education since 1993, in all levels! from Primary to Higher Education. She is currently involved in several projects on digital identity and reputation, user-centric implementation of Europass ePortfolio, ePortfolios, Personal technologies for learning (from PLEs to Mashups). She has also worked in the field of learning difficulties, in particular school performance, migration and early school leaving. She coordinates MUVEnation: an European programme for training teachers in the use of virtual worlds for education. And She is involved in other research projects about MUVEs: OpenHabitat and LLL3D. Her current research interests are the collection and analysis of teaching experiences in virtual worlds through narrative inquiry.
