Professional Life Transitions & Recovery Coach Providing Specialized Services to the Bipolar Community
Greater Boston Area
Marcy's caring, creative & unique approach to coaching comes from her own personal story growing up bipolar. Her decision to openly share everything she lived and learned was the trigger that launched her coaching career and Make-Life-Rewarding and then Bipolar-United.
Marcy is passionate about helping you, your family, friends, caregivers or anyone in the bipolar community. She understands your personal and professional relationship turmoils, knows you deal with career strains, bias and limitations, sees how your daily struggle with health and wellness affects everyone involved.
Marcy's philosophy draws from the belief that there are no failures; there is only the result of an action and it is only this result that matters. If you could develop a plan that helps you find happiness, fulfillment and value in living how much would that be worth? Give yourself the opportunity to connect with Marcy, tell her your story freely and without judgment and begin your journey towards living the life you desire.
Marcy obtained her coaching certification (CPC) from The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. iPEC is among an elite group of institutions accredited by the ICF. She also trained at iPEC to become a Life & Leadership Potentials Practitioner. Marcy furthers her education by staying an active member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI), Depression & Bipolar Support (DBSA), ICFNE, iPEC, CV & is a SelfGrowth Expert.

Bipolar-United is a Free Support Group facilitated by Marcy Rubin (diagnosed with bipolar) & Kathleen Hennessey-Buchanan (spouse of a man diagnoses Bipolar & PTSD). Both Marcy & Kathleen are Certified Life Coaches, experienced in public speaking, private & group coaching, hosting seminars and facilitating events.
The purpose and goal for Bipolar-United is to bring the afflicted and affected together live, from the comfort of home, to share knowledge, issues and be a safe community of unconditional support.
The conversation begins at 8:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month via a live telephone conference line. Preplanned topics regarding issues in the bipolar community are opened for group discussion. Members are encouraged to speak up and share information, tips, resources, stories and support.
The group is a combination, but not limited to, sufferers, family, friends, spouses, caregivers, coworkers, employers, volunteers and advocates. Sharing the variety of unique views helps educate others in return opens up new lines for communication.
Access to the calls is restricted to members only. We honor confidentiality emails are never shared. During live calls we use first names only. We ask participants to send questions in advance so we can do our best to have them addressed during the live call. Soliciting personal information, shouting or disrespecting others is strictly prohibited.
Note: Although Marcy & Kathleen do offer private for fee services they ask participants to make requests for coaching information through their individual websites.
