Blue Fish focuses on implementing websites that are viewable on the various devices availabe using Responsive Web Design. We can design, program, and help market your business' website. Standards-based development and sites that are easy for my clients to manage are important to us.

Marcus Neto's Experience
Creative Director at Blue Fish
Public Company; 1-10 employees; Internet industry
January 2005 – Present (9 years 9 months) Mobile, Alabama Area
Blue Fish crafts good things for people that rock! That often takes the form of branding, experience design for websites & apps, and ultra nerdy code development. We also set up our clients for success by working with them after launch to make sure they have all the tools to succeed in the sometimes-confusing digital age.
We custom fit brands & build dynamic web sites to the specific needs of every one of our customers & their unique users. You'll find we are a passionate bunch that takes the craft of building an online presence for our clients seriously. Life is entirely too short, so let's get to work making something beautiful that matters.
Director of Business Development and Product Evangelist
Privately Held; 11-50 employees; Internet industry
February 2011 – July 2012 (1 year 6 months) Daphne, AL
I was the Director of Business Development and Product Evangelist for EllisLab. EllisLab is a software company that makes ExpressionEngine, CodeIgniter and MojoMotor. I worked for EllisLab for a year and a half demoing ExpressionEngine to close to 100 design studios and speaking at conferences on EllisLab's behalf. I was in charge of promoting the work done by design studios and freelancers in the community to elevate the awareness of EE in the web design community at large. I also helped quadruple their Meet-up groups, helped double the size of their Pro Network and was instrumental in the planning of their Support plans. I love EllisLab. I think ExpressionEngine is a great platform for building websites and if you need someone to write a blog post or speak at an event about EE I am your guy.
Senior Systems Engineer
Privately Held; 1001-5000 employees; Information Technology and Services industry
2001 – 2004 (3 years) Rosslyn, Va
The team I was on was consulting to the Dept of State. We were teaching development best practices to the developers building applications for DoS. We were specialists in IBM's Rational line of products and were directly responsible for implementing those tools in the developer community.
Privately Held; 501-1000 employees; Information Technology and Services industry
1999 – 2002 (3 years) Chantilly, Va
I was a Senior Automation and Performance Test Engineer for a Development team building a new Clinical Healthcare application for the Department of Defense. I was responsible for using Rational Robot to gather response time data on base in an effort to narrow down how the system was performing. Ultimately, the data I helped gather was responsible for showing network issues that were negatively affecting the application.
Privately Held; 51-200 employees; Information Technology and Services industry
June 1999 – March 2000 (10 months)
I was part of the QA Consulting team at Noblestar for about 6 months. I worked with clients to automate their software testing using Rational's (now IBM) line of products.
