I am a senior research scientist at the Hewlett Packard Laboratories in Bristol, UK - Trusted Systems Laboratory.
I've worked for more than 15 years in the ICT space. My current role involves dealing with both technical and business aspects to deliver innovative R&D solutions to HP business units: this includes analysis of new business areas, identification of R&D opportunities and dealing with architectural and system/solution design.
I have more than 40 patents filed and 8 patent granted. I am active on the publication and conference front.
I am a technical contributor and lead in a variety of R&D programs including collaborations with HP business units and EU funded projects - such as EU PRIME project (Privacy and Identity Management for Europe).
I have technically lead various R&D projects (and related teams). A few related technologies and solutions have been transferred to HP business units and productised.
Specifically, my activities involve working on security, privacy and identity management, compliance and governance, trust, adaptive systems, web services and web technologies. My current focus is on identity and privacy management.
