During the last 20+ years, I’ve worked in animation as director, creative producer, visual effects supervisor, character animator and sculptor in film and television.
My work as a director blends various techniques, including 3D / CGI computer animation, live action, stop -motion, 2D character animation. I've also years of on-set experience with miniatures, models and visual effects.

My creative storytelling approach lends itself well in directing animated long-format television series programming, commercial production and cross-platform projects. I've directed animation on several series and pilots for MTV, Discovery Kids, Fox Television, Sci Fi Channel, HBO, BBC and the CBC. Several of these series are currently on-air around the world, including the DiscoveryKids! / BBC’s co-production Dinosapien, MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch, the BBC’s Ace Lightning, and CBC's What It's Like Being Alone.

I'm well versed in leading creative teams from pre-visualization thru post production. I'm an excellent communicator with proven people management and creative development abilities. I like to guide by example and have fun in the process.

I'm seeking opportunities to build and manage awesome creative teams for long and short format productions. I I excel in inspiring, empowering and motivating teams while fostering creative innovation and a positive, solution -oriented working environment.

  20 years’ experience directing and supervising animated television series and commercials, including MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch, the CBC's What It's Like Being Alone, and the BBC's Ace Lightning, the live action/CG animation series “Dinosapien” for CBBC/Discovery Kids!.
  Marc finds time direct and produce independent animated short films between series projects, including the recent award-winning stop-motion short “The Pit and The Pendulum,” executive produced by Ray Harryhausen and Fred Fuchs.
