Marc is also the founder of MeasuredUp.com a leading Customer Service review and resolution website where consumers connect with companies to solve problems and where companies use tools to directly manage customer relationships, online reputation and brand loyalty.
Prior, Marc was the VP Marketing at Yahoo! HotJobs where he was part of the executive management team. Marc led advertising and consumer and corporate marketing for Yahoo! HotJobs and was instrumental in building the brand and metrics allowing HotJobs to grow from a distant player to a category leader which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2003. In this role, he managed the positioning, strategy and communication of the Yahoo! HotJobs brand to various audiences through creative marketing and a multimedia advertising campaign that utilized innovative thinking in SEO, SEM and digital marketing as well as traditional media. Additionally, he was responsible for annual marketing budget, all media buys and agency relationships.
Earlier, he worked for almost 10 years in account management at well known advertising agencies such as Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) and TBWA Chiat/Day where he worked extensively in the strategy, positioning, marketing and advertising for a client list that includes Absolut vodka, Post Cereals, Seagram, Benetton Sportsystem, Reebok and ESPN among others. Earlier in his career, he was both a Media Buyer at GM Mediaworks and Media Planner at Griffin Bacal advertising.
Marc holds a BS in Economics from the University of Connecticut and is actively involved in advertising industry organizations. He is regularly quoted, invited to speak at conferences and been interviewed on several TV shows. He also recently coauthored and had published three books on careers.
