Marcia Call has worked in the human capital/staffing arena for more than a decade. She currently serves In-Q-Tel (IQT), the nonprofit strategic investment firm serving the Intelligence Community, as its capacity of Chief People Officer. She is responsible for the talent management function including recruitment, performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.
Prior to In-Q-Tel, Ms. Call served as President of McKinley Marketing Partners. Her work with this firm spanned more than a decade. She began as one of the organization's interim executives and then joined the leadership of the organization in 1999. She eventually became responsible for the company's entire sales, recruiting, and marketing efforts. Her experience shaped many of the company's key operating principles and best practices.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Call served both trade and consumer nonprofit organizations. With the American Trucking Associations, she managed the association’s extensive acquisition and retention program. In this role, she created and managed an award-winning membership campaign using corporate volunteers from some of the nation's largest transportation companies. Earlier with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, she oversaw the start-up of a national telemarketing facility, producing a net return on investment in the first six months of operation. She also had profit and loss responsibility for 14 chapter operations. Previously, she managed public relations/information for one of the March of Dimes largest chapters.
Ms. Call is a cum laude graduate of Bates College where she earned a B.A. in English, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and with honors in her major. After college, she served in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire) with the Peace Corps, providing health information in Swahili and French to a rural population in the eastern region of Kivu. A native of New Castle, New Hampshire, Ms. Call now resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
