I'm a Worcester/Boston Area software developer with 20+ years of experience. I have worked in a variety of technical areas throughout my professional career, these have included embedded systems development, GUI design and development, network programming and, most recently, client server application development. During this time I have worked with various assembly languages, C++, C, ADA and more.
Currently, I am doing application development for the enterprise environment on Windows and Unix using C & C++. I've recently revised the product's API specification and been part of the team working on the Threat Assessment Model for the product.
I'd like to continue to explore the various aspects of secure development in addition to agile development techniques.

Part of a team developing and supporting PowerSnap, a mirror based backup solution, which is part of the EMC NetWorker product.
PowerSnap is a C/C++ application that runs on various Unix platforms and windows versions, including W2k8. In addition to supporting file system backups, it can be used with other NetWorker modules to protect various applications such as Oracle, SAP and SQL Server.
I've worked on and have been responsible for various aspects of the product, such as restore functionality, logging and I18N/L10N, and most recently adding IPv6 support.

I guess you can say I spent my formative years at Raytheon. While there the majority of my work was in C and Motorola 68k Assembly, though I did venture off into other programming languages such as FORTRAN and ADA.
During my time there I developed for a variety of platforms, including various single board computers, Windows and MAC OS. Most of this development work was communication related, but I also designed and developed various User Interfaces for the Macintosh and XWindows/Motif.
