Founding member of the Business Unit targeted towards new product ventures. Rolled out the popular GlobalLogic offering termed as “Version 1.0 Service” for helping both start-up and established companies rapidly convert their concepts into complete software products. Built up the Onshore/Offshore Delivery Organization and Processes to help Product Innovators deliver a fully functional product release to market in 4 – 6 months using a fabless engagement model. Conceptualized the GlobalLogic Fixed Time/Fixed Budget engagement model (alternate to Fixed Bid or Time and Material model) based on Agile delivery model. Over the 16 months, built up a functional business development, sales support, and delivery organization grounds-up (which included Product and Program Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, Usability/Graphics Designers, Software Engineers, Testers, and Deployment Engineers) and grew the revenues to $2M.
Implemented certain innovative practices such as Prototyping, Assembly-Line Product Engineering, Velocity Packs, Onshore/Offshore SCRUMS, Cloud-enabled Disposable Environments, etc.
Experience in building products in Media & Entertainment, Education & Training, Social Media & Web 2.0, Travel & Hospitality, and Gaming industry. Played in a consulting and operating capacity the role of either CTO or VP Engineering to several Product Organization.

Conceptualized, led, and rolled-out the framework for Velocity Methodology & Platform – GlobalLogic’s home-grown offering for supporting Distributed Agile Product Development across multiple time zones and borders. Velocity Methodology combines the traditional software engineering processes with the Agile practices with blue-print to tailor to specific product needs. In addition to this, the processes also take into consideration the Roles and the associated Behaviors of individuals in the team. Velocity Platform which was built on open-source development platform taps into open integration protocols and configuration mechanisms to facilitate, manage, and monitor product development at a global level. Velocity was awarded the Infoworld Top 100 Innovation Solution for the Year 2007. Over the years, Velocity has become a chief differentiators for GlobalLogic’s offering in Distributed Product Development.

Along with the CTO, played a key role in creating and leading a horizontal group with a key mission to empower GlobalLogic Product Delivery Teams with the best Product Engineering methods, knowledge, tools, components, and metrics; and enable Distributed Product Development. Led a group of around 45 employees comprising of Product Managers, Technical and System Architects, Program Managers, Information/Usability Architects, Developers and QA across six different focus groups.
