I help growing businesses develop winning online marketing plans. And I often pitch in and help deploy some of the tactics I recommend -- especially when folks don't have the time or resources to tackle it themselves.
My two blogs keep readers informed of what's happening in the world of internet marketing and presentation. And I also maintain a website that offers free video how-to's for the do-it-yourself crowd.
Highly intuitive, I'm quick to understand your business goals, and deliver creative thinking, strategic planning, training, and wonderful words that help you sell.
Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I serve clients all over the world.

I keep an active blog at battractive.com/blog. The focus in "Internet Marketing in the Midwest". It's a running commentary on the marketing tactics that work in the heartland. What works in LA or NY can be irrelevant -- my clients are more interested in feeding their families than feeding their egos.

1999 - what a time to consult for Autotrader.com! It was a time of wild growth of this hot internet property -- and I felt like I was a part of history, training dealers to do "strange" stuff like post their inventory online and sell vehicles on eBay. All part of the internet marketing evolution that changed the way we conduct business...

I'm not sure if I really ever had an actual job title the entire time I "worked" at Diesel Technology Company - a GM entity that was gobbled up first by Penske Corp., then by Bosch. But I developed the first websites for many of the Penske companies, including Detroit Diesel, Penske Motorsports, and Diesel Technology Company. And I got to create a bunch of multi-lingual, multi-media sales and training tools. It was an awfully fun time...

January 1990 — October 1990 (10 months)
I established the software training center for Inacomp in Grand Rapids, Michigan -- and made it profitable in a few months. Then, the company decided to get out of the training business and focus on hardware and software sales -- so we split company. But in my short tenure there, I met some truly talented and fun people that knew about computers, business, and communication. Good times....
