Mandy Caruso’s Summary
I work full time at Habitat KC as the Outreach Coordinator. My primary responsibilities are coordinating our speaker's bureau, recycling programs, online networking, updating the website and serving as the AmeriCorps Site Coordinator.
We have 5 AmeriCorps National members serving with us this year, and hope to add 3 more in 2009 thru the Vista program. I've given Habitat KC a presence on Facebook and MySpace, as well as here on LinkedIn, and look forward to updating those sites, as well our organizational website, on a regular basis to better communicate with our constituents. Thru the Speaker's Bureau and recycling programs, I'm working to engage more volunteers on a deeper level with our organization, while also raising awareness in the community and bringing in extra funds to help us build more houses for families in need.
