Venture Capitals: Advisor to life sciences venture funds in Philadelphia and Boston consulting on business plans, market and technology assessments, resulting in investment opportunities in several early to mid-stage biotech companies.
Merck & Co. USA (2007 – present): Responsible for Merck's strategic sourcing and partnerships in vaccines, biologics and Merck BioVenture on a global basis.
Established two biosciences business ventures, at Eastman and Rohm & Haas (2002 – 2007), via partnerships, licensing deals, and joint ventures including Genencor and Sanofi-Aventis. Member of the CEO team that recommended the divestiture of Genencor to Danisco for $475m.
GlaxoSmithKline UK (1989 – 2002): Principal Investigator in the discovery, research and development of six blockbusters with combined annual sales of $15 billion, including Lamuvidine (anti-hepatitis), Epivir (anti-HIV), Abacavir (anti-HIV), Relenza (anti-flu), Zygara (anti-leukaemic) and tribactam antibiotics (infectious diseases).

Member of 1) corporate growth team for healthcare, 2) Technical Council and 3) Emerging Technology Board of Directors reviewing new technologies, corporate funding and strategies.
