This is a role in the European head quarter centrally covering all the needs of the European Manufacturing facilities in the areas of
1) industrial automation : including Wireless connections, RFID, etc;
2) product testing and measures: including measures through advanced technology (Lasers, etc.) or product on board electronics programming, etc.;
3) Manufacturing information systems (locally installed, centrally aligned) that includes Manufacturing execution systems, Manufacturing control systems, etc;
4) Process flexibility improvements that works on efficiency and effectiveness improvements in manufacturing management processes and in connection with Lean manufacturing.
Main cross task is to lead the 4 different groups of people keeping aligned the decentralised facilities to the common strategic directions,
keep under control the cost of ownership of local systems and implement new solutions,
keep connection with ERP and global information systems strategy, etc.
