Currently, I am on sabbatical ('07-'08) from the University of San Francisco, School of Nursing, and I have accepted a visiting educator's position at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. While I am here, I will be working with faculty on the technical integration of various tools in the curriculum.
My research area is in the educational impact of web 2.0/web3D hybrid platforms on health care students' learning (face2face and distance education). Recently, I have completed a chapter of a Nursing Informatics textbook (Technology in Education) and I am involved in a health informatics project looking at the use of simulation and iPod videos to enhance skill acquistition for medical students.
Cheers,

I created this area for friends, colleagues and fellow sports enthusiasts to comment on if they are interested in things I like to do: eg, backpacking, skiing, cycling, rowing, camping, cooking, singing, beach combing, traveling, reading, etc.
