    Within Orkla ASA, Det Berlingske Officin’s Norwegian parent company, I was responsible for the companywide strategic and commercial roll-out of corporate standard CMS as well as Lotus Notes programmes.

    Reporting to the CEO of pilot 1/0 I was overall responsible for the accounts of clients such as leading travel site AVIGO.de, MP3.com Europe, DIE ZEIT (newspaper), camel, Olympus, Mentos and HALLESCHE (health insurance).

    The team, which I set-up, recruited, developed and managed, was launched as a pilot project to ensure the strategic framework of integrated communications in media campaigns equally aimed at online and offline media and target groups.

    In this position I was also responsible for business development via leading, pitching, press relations and networking. Heading the pitches I was heavily involved in winning all of the above-mentioned accounts for pilot 1/0.

    In this position I also played a very active role in the strategic development of the company. I was e.g. responsible for the strategic business development alliance between pilot group and one of Germanys leading advertising agencies.

    In addition the unit was responsible for conceptual product development and set-up of a distribution network for customized B2B services such as ASP, CMS and dynamic profiling, business intelligence and the development of community CRM measures.

    Kabel Customer Knowledge Group was launched in order to focus on CRM and business intelligence, online advertising and communications, primarily servicing group clients such as BMW Group, Henkel, Dresdner Bank and SIEMENS.

    I oversaw the operations and the strategic planning and business planning cycles of the unit, as well as analyzing specific acquisition opportunities providing detailed analysis and research and recommending the acquisition of CRM software and dialogue marketing companies.

    As a unit director I was also involved in group new business activities and had full budget and new business responsibility for the unit I headed.

    In addition I was responsible for the coordination of international online marketing measures for the BMW Group within the rollout of the NEW MINI as well as coordination of cross media, online partner marketing and fan-CRM projects for BMW Motorsports (esp. BMW Formula 1).
