Lynn Strand-Meyer is an information professional with highly refined skills in seeking out all kinds of business and marketing research. Over the past few years, much of her experience has been focused on the consumer and their mindset. Her work encompassed many different verticals and crossed a wide range of industries, both domestic and international.
Lynn is the former Knowledge Manager with Iconoculture in Minneapolis where she was solely responsible for running the "virtual reference desk." She currently is serving as co-chair for the Division of Advertising & Marketing of SLA.
While a graduate student, Lynn was the Friends of the Libraries Graduate Assistant and worked with the Center of Excellence nursing researchers on a literature search on racism, health, and community-based participatory action research. Additionally, Lynn spent 120 hours at Carmichael Lynch as an intern and was a founding member of the MLIS student government at the College of St. Catherine.
