Erik van Luxzenburg’s Summary
Having worked in consulting and sales positions, I now focussing on new skills. After having worked in several industries, mainly the finance and banking industry, I recently switched to an IT company as coordinator (supervisor) of the inbound sales team. This team functions as a central department within the organisation. These tasks are scheduled for 70% of my time.
Besides coordination I recently freed 30% of my time for process management tasks. As processmanager for the Sales department I am responsible for all internal processes (workflow management, hardware and software optimalisation) within the sales department and between sales and the other departments.
Recently I did an assessment in which my skills were defined as highly analytic. My focus will shift in the near future towards more analytical jobs within IT, as business analyst or functional analyst. Or I'll take a complete different direction into law? This needs to be worked out.

As an enthousiastic certified First Aid worker at the National Disaster Team of the Eastern Netherlands I am a volunteer on large events providing first aid assistance. As such I attended the Queensday 2009 disaster in Apeldoorn. The Red Cross first aid assistance is one of my greatest passions.
As coordinator for the Youngster Promotional Team (YPT) I'm responsible of getting the Youth involved into the Dutch Red Cross movement. The YPT is responsible for selling the Red Cross on events and to gain new volunteers.
These positions are volunteer positions, the Red Cross is one of the only organisations which might be able to lure me away from my current employer. -

After 3 months this project was cancelled and I was transferred to the Dutch Railways (NS) were I worked as an accountmanager at the Stations department. As accountmanager at NS Stations BV (a subsidiary of state owned Dutch Rail roads) my responsibility is to manage the rent of office and shopping plots at the train stations in the South Western part (Randstad Zuid) of the Netherlands. Besides this region I'm managing several accounts on media and Telecom, dealing with the demands and offers of several companies. -

After this position I went to Belgium to work there and show the Belgian staff how to be a fashion consultant in stead of a salesman in a fashion-store!

The primary role played by EROs are to check out any reported incident locally and assess the situation. If deemed appropriate the professional Emergency Services like the police, ambulance and/or fire brigade will be called up and the EROs will facilitate the access of the professional services to the right location and provide the initial briefing. This is very important as the EROs are local to a building or complex and are normally able to reach the location of a reported incident before the professional services can get there.
The first few minutes are crucial and any assistance provided in that period can be the difference between the life and death of a victim. -
