Having worked in consulting and accountmanagement positions, I now specialise on sales. After working in the banking industry, I recently switched to an IT company as coordinator (supervisor) of the inbound sales team. This team functions as a central department within the organisation. These tasks are scheduled for 70% of my time.
Besides coordination I recently freed 30% of my time for other tasks. First of all I received an assignments as processmanager for the Sales department. As processmanager I am responsible for all internal processes (workflow management, hardware and software optimalisation).
And secondly I started as junior projectmanager with two projects. First of all a commercial project to create a complete products and service overview. And second to optimalise all internal systemsregistration of products and services.

As coordinator for the Youngster Promotional Team (YPT) I'm responsible of getting the Youth involved into the Dutch Red Cross movement. The YPT is responsible for selling the Red Cross on events and to gain new volunteers.
Besides my work as coordinator for the YPT I am responsible for the website of the Red Cross Apeldoorn.
Also I am a First Aid worker at the National Disaster Team of the Eastern Netherlands.

Luxzenburg.org has long been a dormant organisation which is now awakening. It was used as a consulting organisation Luxzenburg Consulting in business consulting. Now as Luxzenburg.org it functions as a breeding place for new business ideas!

Cedar is the execution body for several foundations who control the different types of copyrights in the Netherlands. For the PRO and Reprorecht Foundations, both organisations founded by the Union of Dutch Publishers, I work as policy advisor directly in combination with the account manager for PRO and Reprorecht and the deputy director of Cedar. My tasks are to analyse the market and new developments in copyright control and violation as well as to develop new policies for institutions and companies to follow in regard to copyright issues.

For Randstad I worked first at the ABN AMRO bank as advisor to Accountmanagers. As advisor of the accountmanager business of the ABN AMRO Bank my responsibility was to role out the marketing drive for a new financial law in the Netherlands called "Levensloopregeling" (Walk of Live Act), which obligates Dutch citizens to save money for sabbaticals or early retirement.
After 3 months this project was cancelled and I was transferred to the Dutch Railways (NS) were I worked as an accountmanager at the Stations department. As accountmanager at NS Stations BV (a subsidiary of state owned Dutch Rail roads) my responsibility is to manage the rent of office and shopping plots at the train stations in the South Western part (Randstad Zuid) of the Netherlands. Besides this region I'm managing several accounts on media and Telecom, dealing with the demands and offers of several companies.

For BPIconsult I worked between august 2002 and december 2002. BPIconsult was a Belgian consulting company, as junior consultant I specialised on corporate modeling and corporate modeler software.
From January 2005 until October 2005 I was part of the STaR consulting group. As a STaR member I worked with our clients in achieving sustainable results through behaviour change and supported by improved management systems. The STaR approach and methodologies are based on the belief that companies can accomplish business change themselves if they are helped by people with the right experience and perspective.
In the intermediate periods I perfomed sometimes brief duties for tempagencies or assignments for local governments. As such I perfomed a bigger mediation and communication project for the town Soest in the Netherlands

Metargus started as a mediating party between local authorities and socially deprived groups (trailer-people, gypsies). As junior communicator and mediator I was responsible for setting up mediation paths with those groups. As such I was found weekly on trailercamps.
Later Metargus started to develop new housing projects in a modular way. Like flexible students and elderly housing, in these projects I was involved for launching new ideas and finetuning them with peergroups. As well as I performed fieldstudies and I was involved in development and design.
Besides my work for Metargus I also perfomed duties for the subsidiary Onawa BV, for which I was a media advisor.

For We International I worked in stores all over the country. My initial main task was to sell fashion items to clients. Due to my style and content customers as well as the performance of the shop I worked in (they had always sharp rising numbers), I was sent to troubled outlets. My latest position in the Netherlands was in a store which was near bankrupt, when I left there we were again mid-ranking store. I worked there without manager and de facto lead the store. After this position I went to Belgium to work there and show the Belgian staff how to be a fashion consultant in stead of a salesman in a fashion-store!

As personal assistant to the first secretary of press- and cultural affairs, education and democratisation I was responsible of providing the Foreign Office with daily reports on major and minor events in the Indian media. Besides this I represented the Netherlands on an International Congress on Indian and Western Classical Music as well I organised a Jazz Tour for Dutch musicians through India. Next to these assignments I executed a study towards Indian Music and it's political impact
Besides my work for the Embassy I preformed a benchmark study as independent consultant, towards visa applications on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.

After 4 years of working and figuring out what to do with my studies I started to finish my studies in 2004 when working at Metargus Beheer BV. In 2006 I finished the rough version of my thesis on relationships between government and trailer people.
Basis Doctoraal, Human Geography, 1996 — 2000
I've been selected by the faculty board to join the Pr commission to work on a new promotional tour to bring Geography in the spotlights. Due to my other biz as editor and chief advisor of Geographika Magazine I lacked time to push forward my ideas, thus experiencing the gradual decline of Geography.
One year later I'd been selected by the Faculty students council to found a multi-discipline magazine! The magazine did occurred but never materialised due to lack of funding. At that time the University needed to drastically cut budgets
new technology, fine arts, cigars (long filler aficionado), skating, martial arts, architectural history, reading novels, international travel, international politics, Islam, long distance walking (after the 2007 and 2008 editions of the Vierdaage of Nijmegen: www.4daagse.nl) where I finished the 200km long distance marches!
