Luis Fernandez received his bachelors and masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Sevilla in 2004 and 2006. During his studies he had been collaborating with the Robotics & Computer Technology for Rehabilitation Laboratory of the University of Sevilla. His first work experience started in 2005 in the Spanish ICT company Sadiel SA, working in several eHealth projects for one year. From November 2005 - until July 2007 he worked in the research Area of Technologies for Health and Well-Being, Institute Itaca, Valencia, where they focused on E-Health, E-Inclusion, Life Quality and Health Information. He has taken part in implementing various technologies for eHealth, and been involved in several European funded projects. He has published papers in Biomedical Informatics in Spanish and international congress. Currently he is a researcher at Norut focusing on technology and services for personal health care systems. He is currently working in his PhD project about Personalised Health Education based on heterogenous data sources. He is working in MyHealthEducator, which is a new eHealth service part of MyHealthService platform.
