I’m a Knowledge management and online communities expert supporting FAO's new knowledge management strategy. In the past years I've been coordinating the Information Management Resource Kit (IMARK) e-learning initiative of FAO, in the development of the training course entitled “Building online communities and networks”.

I'm in charge of the development and facilitation of internal Thematic Knowledge Networks including advice on knowledge networks design, appropriate software tools and applications, the development of marketing/communication plans, and facilitation techniques and tasks.
I also deploy and support FAO-endorsed collaborative software tools and applications, allow customization of collaborative workspaces, organize and support training on knowledge networks design and facilitation
Coordinating the IMARK team, my responsibilities include the selection of external experts as authors, the revision of the content and support to storyboard the content into lessons suitable for distance learning.
I also act as the main focal point for the IMARK online community providing support with the design and establishment of web community, guidance for establishing discussions for facilitators and learners, and support with the development of the community for users in developing countries.

General coordinator of AMKA onlus, an Italian Non Governmental Organization operating in Democratic Rep. of Congo on integrated development programs. Responsibilities include:
- working with local staff, using a participatory approach, to assess basic needs and to identify overall objectives, project purposes, results and activities to be implemented,
- extending micro credit programs to entrepreneurs not in condition to qualify for conventional bank loans;
- supporting local staff to ensure monitoring and following evaluation of the projects;
- planning EU funding acquisition, development and implementation of project proposals and applications;
- producing narrative and financial reports for the donors of the association,
- liaising with local government and non governmental organisations involved in cooperation activities;
- providing expertise for the development of communication materials.

- project management of the 3° release of the web site and two new releases of instant messaging software C6, absolute leader on the Italian market,
- coordination of internal resources, technological suppliers and publishing partners,
- management of the commercial relationships in the advertising market,
- participation to the most important national expo events.
