Suzanne Shanks’s Summary
I am currently teaching Computer Literacy classes at a public school. I have been teaching for 14 years, 8 of which have been as a specialist in technology education and integration and 6 of which were teaching various grades and subjects from Kindergarten to 8th Grade.
I do a great deal of informal peer coaching in using technology for teacher productivity and embedding technology into curricula. I do a bit of formal training/consulting, especially around Oracle Education Foundation's Think.com, Project Based Learning, and 21st Century Skills.
My plans are to increase my training/consulting business, teach online classes, and offer consulting regarding educational technology integration. I would also like to investigate corporate training and teach overseas in the future.
