Louise founded ArtsMarket, Inc., and serves as its President and lead consultant. Through ArtsMarket, Louise has over 27 year's consulting experience guiding hundreds of arts organizations, museums, foundations, and goverment agencies through research and planning to build audiences, develop cultural policy plans, and undertake specific ventures such as feasibility studies, cultural district development, and new programs. She works throughout the US and Canada.
Louise is author of books and articles on arts and culture, including The Community Cultural Planning Work Kit; Through a Mirror, a Guide to Program Evaluation; and Planning to Make the Arts Basic. She gives workshops and training seminars around the US and Canada on audience development, arts marketing, and cultural planning.
