I'm an independent technology consultant.
A can-do, hands-on technologist and leader of elite teams with deep insight into business needs, technology and how to bring the two together.
I learned at MIT labs and MIT software spinoffs, then, joining a startup, developed a commercial software product. I have been passing on what I have learned (consulting) to Fortune 500 CIOs.
I led the team that transferred the first sophisticated, commercial technologies, acquired by In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s venture capital arm, into the U.S. Intelligence Community.
I advise and make things happen for people and companies with Information Technology: Business Intelligence, performance (organizational and systems), technology introduction, agility, software development, fun stuff...
Lately I have been mentoring IT folks: developers and entrepreneurs in the next generation. Using my experience to help those coming up prosper.
I developed Stratagem (aka Acumate), the BI tool Lotus (and lots of banks and insurance companies) chose to use internally. CA acqired Stratagem. I also implemented CommBridge, Massachusett's innovative smart government technology.
The hardest technology problems. I've helped Draper Labs (MIT), Citigroup, the Postal Service, Elizabeth Arden, Reader's Digest, KPMG, most of the largest US electric utilities, as well the US Intelligence community solve some complex problems.
