Professional writer with over 20 years of nonfiction writing experience from articles to books. With a life coaching background, I specialize in working with professionals through the writing process from idea to publication.
I help my clients balance what they want to say with what a publisher will publish. After all, your message can only really help others if they're willing to buy it from you.
My book, Who Am I?, will be available in the Spring of 2008 from Enspiren Press. Here is what others are already saying about it:
**Awareness of values is the key to unlock our hidden potential. Lori Chance has created easy-to-follow steps to identify our values and a how-to guide to use them in our everyday lives. I highly recommend her book to those individuals seeking clarity and direction. ~Rev. Christine Green, Spiritual Mentor.
** Who Am I is concise, empathetic, human, and practical. This isn't someone talking down to us from their million dollar pedestal. Lori and all her examples are real people. The best part was the values exercises. I couldn't help printing them out so I could work on them the next day in my morning journaling. ~ Barb Rees, author and speaker for Dreams Inspirations Seminars.
**The premise of the book is a very important one. I recommend her book for anyone who has been struggling with their life plan. Besides practical exercises that are both challenging and worthwhile, the book also offers stories of real people facing a variety of difficult situations that are easy to relate to. I would like to thank Lori for taking a difficult situation she herself had to face and turning it into a valuable life lesson for us all. ~ Mia Neuse, licensed acupuncturist and mom

As Assistant Director, I work with 5 chapters of an average of 20 members each, to reach their growth and business goals. By providing education, training and necessary materials, I meet them where they're at, help them create a vision, then support them through the process of getting there.
As the Communications Coordinator for the region, my role is to build the region's brand as THE word-of-mouth marketing organization and business networking group. Through the use of articles and PR both online and in print, we're establishing BNI Oregon & SW Washington as the premier organization for building business on quality referrals in the local area.
(Both roles are contracted positions.)

Writing is the most effective way to reach large audiences, quickly and easily. With writing you can teach, inspire, coach and more - and the information is available to them for years, not just while you're talking. And when you can tell your target market about your book... you suddenly stand head and shoulders above the competition, making it THE most effective marketing tool you can have!
But, it can take work. And time.
Whether it's your first writing project, or you're looking to create your next book, there's always a way to make it better, more effective and more FUN to read and write.
This is my passion - to meet my clients where they're at both personally and professionally, and collaborate with them in order to: First, clarify their core message; and Second, spread that message as far and wide as possible. This builds their business, their brand, and more.
