I am a Ph.D. student at the Advanced Broadband Communications Center of the Technical University of Catalonia, holding a four-year grant (FI) from the Catalan government. I worked for the 6th Framework Programme European project EuQoS, and now I participate in the CONTENT European network of excellence.

* Administered the heterogeneous network of a university campus building with 200+ connected computers running different operating systems. Configured and maintained a gateway server, Ethernet bridges, firewall, web server, mail server, file server, internal domain name service, and shell acount server (Red Hat Linux and FreeBSD). Configured all mentioned services with IPv6 as well.
* Configured several VPNs to connect small external networks to the campus intranet.
* Designed and physically built with a small team of students the upgrade from 10Base-T coaxial cabling to UTP structured cabling with stacked enterprise switches.
