A hands-on Art Director with over 15 years in marketing and publishing with an emphasis on bridging print and online media. An experienced team leader who can source and manage teams and develop and maintain project estimates and time lines. I've organized and executed on-location photo shoots in NYC, sourced and hired a team in London to install floor-to-ceiling wall graphics in Harrods (which I had printed in NJ), and have been on press more times than I care to remember.
I am proficient in the entire Adobe Creative Suite as well as Quark and I work just as efficiently on a Mac or a PC. I have been hand-coding HTML since 1993 and and am a stickler for adhering to web standards. Developing and online application? I can write a requirements doc, design an interface and build a functional mock-up. Need me to go on press? I can talk to a press operator in their own dialect.

As Art Director for Integrated Marketing, I designed and executed many of the magazine's in-book and online marketing programs for such high-profile brands as AARP, GlaxoSmith Klein, U.S. Army (which won min's 2007 Integrated Marketing Awards "Special Advertorial Section" Category) , Energizer, Campbell's, Kellogg's and more. My primary responsibilities were to design in-book and "unsert" programs as well as to successfully integrate them with supportive online technologies, which included sweepstakes entry forms, downloadable music, e-blast subscriptions and online surveys. I also designed many print materials such as Sales Collateral, Media Kits, Event Signage, Invites and other promotional items.

PPFA hired me to redesign their online store and to design the interface of their massive online Branding Library--a searchable repository of logos, photographs, ad campaigns, TV/radio ads and positioning statements for their national group of affiliates to use in their own marketing collateral. In addition to its wealth of media, the Branding Library also contains an online forum for affiliate members to discuss issues, make requests and share examples of how they used the materials in their own marketing campaigns.

As Art Director for Interactive Marketing at YM, I designed and executed all of the magazine’s online marketing programs for such high-profile brands as MTV, Sony Music, Maybelline, New Line Cinema and more. My personal highlight was the Pottery Barn “Dream Room Designer,” a Flash-based bedroom designer for kids that featured a drag-and-drop interface with items linked directly to Pottery Barn’s online store. Kids could email their finished room designs to friends and family as well as send automatically generated “wish lists” to parents and relatives. In addition, I executed considerable design work for in-book pages and stand-alone promotional pieces.
