Chief Customer Officer at Merscom
Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area
I have been involved with publishing and licensing social media (Facebook, MySpace, etc) and casual video games for over 16 years. As Chief Customer Officer of Merscom, I have built Merscom's licensing and co-production relationships with numerous media companies, including Lifetime, Starz Entertainment/Overture Films, Lionsgate, CBS, CAA, Paramount, Showtime, National Geographic and Granada Ventures.
I am currently spearheading the launch of over twenty Facebook games, some using high profile properties for the first time in the social space. These include games based on blockbuster movies and popular television series.
I was responsible for building Merscom’s relationship with Starz Media, which resulted in the first casual downloadable game released concurrently with with a major motion picture release, Righteous Kill starring Robert Deniro and Al Pacino. Righteous Kill generated a 9X ROI for both Merscom and Starz and helped the movie attract a 51% female audience. I also played a key role in the development and launch of Merscom’s number one hit title, Blood Ties, building a relationship with Lifetime Networks, selecting the game’s developer and managing the launch.
