What started as an experimental combination of storytelling and software development has turned into JoSara MeDia, the part-time book, eBook and app publishing company run by my wife and I.
Award winning authors like Paul Levinson (winner of the Locus Award), Robert Flynn (Texas Literary Hall of Fame, winner of the Spur Award from Western Writers of America) and others collaborate with us to produce print books, eBooks, enhanced eBooks for tables and apps.
My own contributions include the novels, Software by the Kilo and Dusk Before the Dawn, plus the non-fiction Voices in My Head and the top-rated enhanced eBook on the Grand Canyon for iPad and iPhone.
From Robert Flynn we've published the Jade series (Jade: Outlaw and Jade: The Law) in print and eBook, the out-of-print classic The Last Klick in eBook, and the highly rated Antarctica: Standing on the Bottom of the World, an enhanced eBook for iPad and iPhone.
With Paul Levinson we've collaborated on several "author's cuts" including the classic time travel novel The Plot to Save Socrates. We recently published the sequel, Unburning Alexandria, in eBook and print.
We've collaborated with the renowned Texas State Historical Association to publish an enhanced eBook on San Jacinto for iPad and iPhone, which includes panoramic pictures of the historic battleground.

Dusk Before the Dawn was named a Finalist in the 2006 Book of the Year Awards from ForeWord Magazine.
An American educated Mayan sits atop a Temple in Tikal National Park, waiting. A father helplessly watches his family fall into some kind of sleep, or trance. Then he too succumbs, begging a stranger to save them. A PhD scientist awakens, remembering only hours ago she was in her nanotechnology lab, trying to work a solution to make incredibly small robots replicate. But she finds that she is now ill, or a prisoner, or both. The world has change irrevocably, in one swift movement, by the actions of a meglo-maniacal genius. Can they undo what he has done? Should they?
One of the best novels I've come across this year - I liked it so much, I added it to my best first science fiction novels list here on Amazon. A really fine mix of ancient culture, modern-future nanotech, written by a sure hand -- Paul Levinson, author of The Plot to Save Socrates

"Master hacking, topless snorkeling, wine, war, and corporate intrigue spin smoothly in Larry Ketchersid's fast moving, high octane second novel, spanning two continents, two time periods, and all kinds of friendship, business, and love. If you like high-tech action served with cultural savvy and keen human insight, you'll snap up Software by the Kilo." --Paul Levinson, author of The Plot to Save Socrates and New New Media
"In Software by the Kilo, Larry Ketchersid writes about romance like a romantic, about computers like a geek, about the Mafia like a Don, about war like he's been there. Perhaps, best of all, he writes about ordinary people as though he were one."--Robert Flynn, author of Echoes of Glory and Wanderer Springs
