Freelance Writer/Technical Writer
Israel
I am a freelance writer and blogger. Topics covered include Israel, the Middle East, current events, politics, family, reproductive issues/technologies.
I've also worked as a technical writer for more than ten years, and have editing and translating (Hebrew-to-English) experience as well.
I'm interested in all writing opportunities in any environment, from hi-tech to non-profit organizations.
I'm a social media junkie.
Experience includes:
Extensive research for and writing of the Israel section for a global expatriate employment website.
Ongoing, periodic audio entries for the BBC World Service, including a daily audio diary kept during the recent conflict in Gaza. This involved writing timely personal essays using the conflict as a backdrop, recording them, and having them broadcast on the World Service show "The World Today".
Columnist for "The Diplomatic Post", a now defunct monthly magazine published by The Jerusalem Post. I wrote two columns for each edition, mostly focusing on current events and politics.
I've also written for Pajamas Media, the Israel-based, Hebrew-language Nana news portal, and a variety of other publications, journals and websites.
