November 2006 — June 2007 (8 months)
It is a local publication telling the story of all the bands that played rock in my hometown since the 60s. The book was first published in 1991. From November 2006 to April 2007 I have been working on updating the story from 1991 to 2007:
• interviewing 40 band leaders from the province, listening to their old releases (tapes, cds, vinyls) and gathering iconographic material (photos, album covers, posters, fliers);
• researching information in the local mediateque about society and politics to picture the background that allowed that fertile music scene to born and grow;
• writing introductions and clips for every band linking time period, genres and international trends and influences.
