Marjorie Clark’s Experience

  • Owner

    Little Fish Studios

    (Internet industry)

    April 1998Present (11 years 9 months)

Little Fish Studios started as a favor to my father-in-law. As the Web developed in the last ten plus years, so has our skill level and portfolio.

Simplicity guided our early designs because we (and the Internet) lacked the technical knowledge and bandwidth to make sites more complicated. However, "Don't Make Me Think," Steven Krug's book on usability, convinced us we were on the right track. If a search engine can't find a web site's content, what's the point. If people can't easily use a website they won't come back.

So we still keep web sites simple, but with more than ten years of design experience and technical knowledge, we give them accessibility and sophistication.
