I have been leading and managing people, programs and systems and in progressively more responsible Human Resource positions in a varying industries, settings and roles:

Of all things HR, the areas I enjoy most are employee relations, labor management relations and compensation.
I am all about trying to strike the perfect balance between work and family although "balance" really is a myth. It is not about balance at all. It is about setting priorities and having the fortitude to stick to them. Ah, so much easier said than done.
In addition to my formal education, my professional development highlights include Critical Issues Facing HR in the Public Sector, Harvard Business School Publishing; Labor Law and Arbitration Program, Labor Law and Arbitration Institute; Human Resource Executive Program, Carlson Executive Center, University of Minnesota; Strategic Human Resource Planning, Executive Education Center; numerous US Army management and leadership development programs, 1985-1995.
